First Aid Level One

First Aid Level One  is a classroom, instructor-led course that teaches basic level of first aid knowledge and skills.

This one-day course is a standard  training recommended  for workplace first aid providers.  It is also designed for anyone who wants to learn how to respond in the event of an emergency.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere – this course will ensure you know what to do.

This class consists of learning the theory (40%) and practicing the first aid skills (60%).

Upon successful completion of the course, which includes practical and written test, participant will receive certificate of attendance, certificate of competence and International SOS first-aider card.

 

Course Covers

· Key changes reflecting the new science from 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care

· Adult CPR and AED use

· Basic first aid skills such as wound  and bleeding care, fainting and shock

· Practical test

· Written test

 

 Primary Audience

This course is for anyone with limited or  no medical  training who needs a certification in basic first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirement.
