International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Training

The International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Training empowers medical personnel* with the knowledge and skill to provide optimal care in trauma patients.

ITLS courses teach skills necessary to recognize mechanisms of injury; perform an organized, time-efficient assessment; prioritise and perform critical interventions; and appropriately package and transport the trauma patient.

The major focus of the course is the identification of conditions that require immediate transport (“load and go”) to save a life.
