Clinics

In order to operate and grow your business, your employees must travel and work internationally. This means they are often faced with environments that they are unfamiliar with. This level of uncertainty puts them at risk. Even a minor health or security issue, if unchecked, can quickly escalate into a more serious problem. Furthermore, your ability to respond to these risks, can ultimately impact your workforces’ happiness and morale.

We are here to help you mitigate those risks and their associated costs. No matter how small a medical or security issue is; our experts are qualified to help.

International SOS operates a global network of primary care clinics across the world, bringing world-class standards of medical expertise to you and your employees, should they need it. Clinics can be accessed directly by organisations that subscribe to a clinic plan.

Our solution

How it works

Being an International SOS clinic member can grant privileged access to a wide range of medical services in countries where they are otherwise unavailable. Organisations and their workforce can gain access to an International SOS clinic via a pre-paid clinic plan.

For members of an organisation without a clinic plan in place, please contact your nearest International SOS Assistance Centre for information and advice.

How it helps

Our clinics aim to deal with all the most common medical needs your employees will face, from the routine to the emergency.

Every clinic offers primary care services, and many complement this with diagnostic care and 24/7 emergency care. Doctors are available to provide many types of treatment, from a simple vaccination to dealing with more serious medical conditions or stabilise a critically ill or injured person before evacuation.

In addition, a wider range of specialist care services covering many fields is also available to our members, either in-house or through referrals, including gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, ophthalmology and physical therapy.

Each clinic also contains an international-standard pharmacy, and many feature laboratory and diagnostic services as well, such as X-ray and ultrasound capabilities.

Most clinics also offer services beyond primary care, such as immigration health checks and occupational health programmes.

We also operate a network of Occupational Health clinics, mainly in countries which apply complex and hard-to-manage legislation to harsh offshore working conditions.
